Hello, Mid Michigan!
Brown IT Solutions has relocated to Owosso, Michigan!
A little bit of backstory… we lived in Traverse City when I first started Brown IT Solutions. At the time, I was doing in-house IT for a large micro brewery and enjoying the scenery; sitting pretty good for a mid-twenties something IT nerd. I picked up little IT jobs working for local companies here and there, often donating my time just to be of help / make a name for myself. The up-north well eventually dried out. Life happened and we made our first move to the Detroit area (Monroe). I had picked up a new position working in healthcare IT and we were living closer to family.
Fast forward to today. We just completed a move to the Lansing area (Owosso) and now I’m doing Brown IT Solutions full-time. Yes, you read that right. Brown IT Solutions is officially located in Mid Michigan. Back in our old stomping grounds.
Why the move? My wife and I found a beautiful 1900s farmhouse that we could not pass up. We’re very interested in farms, old houses, renovating, and other homey projects.
Detroit. Brown IT still services a handful of businesses in the Detroit area. I’ve already found myself making a few day-trips out of visiting our Detroit friends. We will begin our job search for a few willing and eager Detroit technology professionals soon. No worries here.
